On-demand small pump can furnish water to a remote location such as your icemaker, etc. This pump has a pressure sensitive switch, which controls its running time. Example: When you stop the running of the water discharge the line pressurizes. This turns the pump off and holds that pressure. When you withdraw water the pressure drops and on comes the pump and water continues to flow.
This demand pump specifically works well with the model 5A automatic water distiller. The model 5A comes with a spigot for manual drawing of the water in the storage tank, as well as a fitting in the storage tank to allow you to easily install the demand pump.
The demand pump may also be used with the 501 and 503 but may require an additional fitting or the elimination of the spigot for connection.
